Troeger wins debut in Southern California!

Troeger wins first race on Sunday, June 21 at Hollywood, in first start on the West Coast!

Blazing Spirit, for Steve and Terry Burnett and partners, won the first race for Bobby Troeger on Sunday. "how about that little buddy?" Troeger exclaimed back at the barn after the race. "That was nice," he added.

The scene was reminiscent of Bobby's popularity. Everyone came along to congratulate him. "I am proud of you, boy!" said Hall-of-Famer Jack Van Berg. Witnesses weren't sure if that a tear in the Jack's eye. Vic Stauffer made the race call memorabler when he exclaimed "and Blazing Spirit and Bobby Troeger wins!".
